EAP Counselor

Veronica Mia Verges, MS, LPC, CAADC, CEAP, SAP-Qualified is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 30 years of experience in the helping professions. She enjoys supporting others through her work and values the variety that comes with serving in different roles. Her primary focus is Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counseling, where she provides guidance and support to individuals navigating personal and workplace challenges. Veronica is bilingual in English and Spanish, and is dedicated to offering specialized, client-centered, and culturally responsive care. Within her EAP work, she utilizes modalities such as safety risk assessments, short-term solution-focused therapy, and humor as a powerful tool for healing. She treats a variety of concerns, including grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and anger management. In addition, Veronica is a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) and provides SAP evaluations in accordance with DOT regulations.

Outside of work, I love creating a beautiful space at home where I spend much of my time. Interior decorating is one of my passions, from choosing colors for the walls to selecting décor and lighting. It’s my happy place and a creative outlet that helps me recharge away from work.
